Vũ Hoàng Khánh Nguyên
Vũ Hoàng Khánh Nguyên (they/anh/em) is an artist from Long Thành, Việt Nam who currently lives and works in Florida. Across many forms, Vũ examines how nature, community and spirituality guide humans through the passage of time. Their practice moves between artmaking and pedagogy, rooted in the belief that both are liberatory actions against the oppressive forces of our world. Vũ's points of departure are change, grief, spirituality, Vietnamese mythology, and particularly the bridge between the material and the unseen world. Presently, Vũ is working on archiving familial narratives, tracing histories of resistance and exploring what hope looks like in practice.
